The Dakota Chapter of CFMA was founded on August 24, 2012 as the 89th chapter of CFMA. In our first year, we earned the New Chapter of the Year Award, and have earned the Chairman's Excellence Award every year since. In 2017 we were awarded the Chapter of the Year Award for our membership tier!
Based out of Fargo, ND, we have grown to over 50 members, spread out over 400+ miles east to west and 200+ miles north to south. Because we cover such a large geographical area, we hold half-day educational sessions roughly every other month, in lieu of the traditional shorter monthly meetings that most chapters offer. We also team up with the ND/MN ABC to hold the annual ND ABC/CFMA Conference each November. We strive to give our members value through education and networking opportunities.
