The Dakota Chapter of CFMA was founded on August 24, 2012, as the 89th chapter of CFMA. We have earned awards recognizing the strength and ingenuity of our chapter since its inception in a Chapter of the Year Award in 2017 and a Founder’s Award in 2020! 

Based out of Fargo, ND, we have grown to over 50 members. We cover a large geographic area spanning 800 square miles. To accommodate this large area, we hold longer half-day meetings bi-monthly in lieu of the traditional shorter monthly meetings that most chapters offer. 

Our Annual Scholarship Golf Scramble provides funds for general members awardees to attend the National Conference or sit for the CCIFP exam. Our educational meetings focus on current industry topics including mental health as well as informative updates about industry basics. 

We have created strategic partnerships with the North Dakota (ND)/Minnesota(MN) Association of Building Contractors (ABC). Together we host an annual ND ABC/CFMA Conference each November.
